South Louisianans are great about selling their extras — whether it's produce, honey, eggs, etc. But a lot of the time they sell them from untracked front and back porches and roadside shanties . . . I mean stands . . . .
So here's a map to help us find our abundant local Louisiana goods. Roll over the icons for details on each location and you can choose what category you see — farmer's markets, roadside stands or local shops — by scrolling up and down on the left menu and checking or unchecking the box next to the category name. And it's in Google maps, so go full screen (upper right square in the top black bar) and get directions — why I chose Google maps — . . . or just a better view.
This map is ever evolving/updating . . . .it's hard to track the untrackables . . . so if you know of one not listed, fill out the form at the bottom of this page and let me know!
